In the boys 16-18 division, Sion Park from Westlake, OH was the first place finisher this past weekend. Park brought in a fantastic scorecard for the weekend. With four birdies on the weekend, he had scores of 78 in round 1 and 75 in round 2. He was able to take the win with a weekend total of 153. This follows a win at the Northern Ohio Junior Open where Sion shot an even score for the weekend. Jacob Harnden takes home the runner up honors with a final score of 155 strokes. Harnden, from Grafton, Canada is a newcomer to the HJGT, he will play next at the Cleveland Summer Junior Open in July. Ted Hoover from Canton, OH finishes up the top three honors with six birdies on the weekend and a total score of 159.

In the boys 16-18 division, Ryan Fenton from Boynton Beach, FL was the first place finisher. With five birdies, he brought in scores of 79 for both days. Fenton finished the tournament with a total of 158 strokes. This was his first win of the year and he is currently within the Top 50 of HJGT point rankings. The runner up honors went to Ethan Argus from Jupiter, FL. He had a round 1 score of 84 and 80 in round 2 totaling 164 strokes. This was Ethan’s first HJGT tournament of the year, he did a great job on the course and we hope to see him on tour again. Finishing up top three honors with a total of 168 strokes was Kolbe Fielder from North Richland Hills, TX.

Taking the lead in the boys 16-18 division was Scott Petrosky from Bristol, CT. Petrosky did a great job this past weekend and brought in an exceptional scorecard. With one eagle and seven birdies on the weekend, he brought in scores of 71 and 69. Scott secured the win with a total score of 140 strokes. This was his second tournament of the year and his first win. In his first tournament of the year, Sajiv Mehta from Scarsdale, NY takes home the runner up honors. With a round 1 score of 72 and 84 in round 2, he finished the weekend with 156 strokes. Finishing up top three honors was Sawyer Dalzell from Westport, CT with a total score of 157 strokes.

With two birdies on the weekend, he had a round 1 score of 78 and 77 for round 2. Coen finished the weekend with a total of 155 strokes. The runner up honors went to Max Terrell from Crestwood, KY. With one eagle on the weekend, he put up scores of 70 and 86 totaling 156 strokes, his best HJGT tournament score of 2023. Finishing up top three honors was Ocean Krisna Permana from Carmel, IN. His scores of 77 and 78 gave him a total of 157.
