Zane Aiken from Parker, CO led the boys 16-18 division. Aiken brought in an outstanding scorecard for the weekend. With 12 birdies on the weekend, he put up scores of 71, 72 and 71. Zane finished the weekend with a total of 214 strokes to take home the champion title. With 13 birdies on the weekend and a final score of 215, Maximus Haines from Odessa, FL took home the runner up honors. This was Haines second Top 3 finish of the year, he is currenty within the Top 20 players of HJGT point rankings. Noah Hu from New York, NY shot an even 216 in his first tournament of the year and finished in the top three honors.

Leading the boys 16-18 division was Ryder Hodgson from Montclair, NJ. Hodgson had an outstanding scorecard for the weekend. With eight birdies on the weekend, he brought in a round 1 score of 36 and 66 for round 2. He was able to take the first place win with a total of 102 strokes. This follows a great first place win at the North Jersey Summer Junior Open where he scored a 137. In a tie for the runner up honors was Eshaan Golchha from Warren, NJ and Scott Sanczyk from Kinnelon, NJ. Golchha with a total of three birdies and scores of 35 and 71 and Sanczyk with a total of five birdies and scores of 37 and 69. Both players finished the weekend with an impressive score of 106.

In the boys 16-18 division, Todd Marovich from Canton, GA took home the first place win after securing a playoff win against Keegan Farmer. Marovich finished the weekend with a round 1 score of 73 and round 2 score of 74 ending the weekend with a score of 147. This was his first win and lowest score of 2023. Keegan Farmer from Greenwood, SC took home the runner up honors with a round 1 score of 72 and 75 for round 2 totaling 147 strokes. Matthew Calhoun from Canton, GA finishes up in the top three honors with a total 149 strokes, his best HJGT tournament score.

In the boys 16-18 division, Harper Ackermann from Webster Groves, MO and Nick Vilela from Washington, MO tied up for the first place champion title. Both players were able to bring in an impressive scorecard for the weekend. Ackermann with one eagle and five birdies, brought in scores of 74 for round 1 and 71 for round 2. Vilela with one eagle and four birdies, brought in scores of 70 in round 1 and and 75 in round 2. Both players finished with a final score of 145 strokes. Ben Gelven from Saint Louis, MO finishes up the top three honors. He brought in scores of 75 and 74 giving him a combined total of 149 strokes. Gelven is currently within the Top 20 players of HJGT point rankings.
