In the boys 16-18 division, Nicholas Martina from Alpharetta, GA was our first place finisher after having a great two days on the green. With five birdies, he had a round 1 score of 77 and 74 in round 2. Martina finished the tournament with a total of 151 strokes. This is his third tournament of the year and his first win. Cooper Cassidy from Dacula, GA and Michael Krevolin from Atlanta, GA tied for the runner up honors. Both players participated in their first HJGT tournament of the year and were able to bring in an impressive score of 153 strokes.

Henry Hartquist from Luverne, MN was our first place finisher in the boys 16-18 division. Hartquist did an outstanding job on the course and brought in great scorecards. With seven birdies for the tournament, he put up scores of 76 and 73. Henry finished off the tournament with a total of 149 strokes. This follows a 4th place finish at the College Prep Series at Iowa where he had a score of 154. The runner up honors went to JJ Grimm from Coralville, IA. Grimm had one eagle and two birdies for the tournament; he finished with a total score of 151 strokes. Dillon Croco from Oxford, IA finishes up the top three honors, he put up scores of 82 and 73 for a total of 155 strokes.

Taking the lead in the boys 16-18 division was Zecheng Hu from Shanghai, China. This was Hu’s first HJGT tournament, he brought in an exceptional scorecard. With four birdies, he brought in a round 1 score of 74 and 76 for round 2. Zecheng secured the win with a total of 150 strokes. Sining Lyu from Blairstown, NJ and Noah Riffle from Rochester, IN tied up for the runner up honors. Lyu had scores of 71 and 80 while Riffle had scores of 77 and 74, both finishing with an exceptional score of 151 strokes.

Griffin Latimer from Canton, GA did a fantastic job on the course this weekend and secured the first place win in the boys 16-18 division. With three birdies on the weekend, he finished the tournament with a final score of 71 strokes. This was his first win of the year and he is in fifth place for the HJGT point rankings. The runner up honors went to Jack Cole from Boca Raton, FL. This was Jack’s first HJGT tournament of the year, with three birdies he brought in a weekend total of 73 strokes. In a four way tie for the top three honors was Ben Davis from Gainesville, FL, Nutthachai Khamkhokgruad from Bangkok, Thailand, Minseok Kim from Orlando, FL and Jairen Stroud Iuka, IL. All four players did a fantastic job on the course and brought in an impressive score of 74 strokes for the weekend.
