Taking the lead in the boys 16-18 division was Wyatt Hightower from Chapin, SC. Hightower did a great job in his first HJGT tournament. With nine birdies on the weekend, he brought in scores of 73 and 72. He took the first-place win with a final score of 145 strokes. Longtime HJGT player, Aiden Aguliar from Myrtle Beach, SC took home the runner-up honors. His scores of 75 and 72 gave him a total of 147 strokes. This follows a second-place finish at the Charlotte Summer Junior Open. Finishing up the top three honors was Hayden Campbell from Garner, NC with scores of 76 and 74, totaling 150 strokes.

This was both players’ first tournament with the HJGT and they did a great job on the course. Finishing up the top three honors was Owen Farley from St. Louis, MO in his first HJGT event of 2023. With one eagle and six birdies, he brought in a scorecard of 75 strokes.

In the boys 16-18 division, Chi Mou (Kevin) Feng from Kaohsiung, Taiwan finished the tournament in first place. Feng brought in an exceptional scorecard for the tournament. With six birdies, he brought in scores of 78 and 75. He finished the tournament with a total of 153 strokes to secure his first win of 2023. The runner-up honors went to Michael Dignazio from Wilmington, DE. This was Dignazio’s second event of 2023 and he brought in his lowest score. Bringing in six birdies along with scores of 74 and 80, totaling 154 strokes. Marshall Kain from Newton Square, PA finishes up the top three honors with scores of 74 and 81 for a total of 155 strokes.
