To finish off a great weekend, Tierney Baumstark from Columbia, MO was crowned champion of the girls 14-18 division. Baumstark has been playing with the HJGT since 2020 and has nine Top 10 finishes under her belt. This was her first tournament of 2023, she secured her win with five birdies and a total of 152 strokes. The runner up honors went to Addison Davis from Kirksville, MO. Addison’s scores of 78 and 83 along with four birdies on the weekend gave her a total score of 161 strokes. Finishing up top three honors was Makenna Kincheloe from Parkville, MO with a total score of 167 strokes.

In the girls 14-18 division, Meijin Song from Beijing, China was the first place finisher for the day. Song brought in an exceptional scorecard for her first tournament of the year. With three birdies, she had a score of 73 strokes for the day. The runner up honors went to Jida Chiravachradej from Bangkok, Thailand. Jida had three birdies and brought in a score of 75 strokes. This follows an outstanding first place win at the Massachusetts Junior Open at Maplegate. Zhi Han Yue Liu from Chino Hills, CA finishes up top three honors with a score of 77 strokes.

In the girls 14-18 division, Yeheejee Lee from Buford, GA finished the tournament as our champion. With two birdies and scores of 86 and 84, she had a total score of 170 strokes. This follows a fantastic first place win at the North Georgia Junior Open where she had a score of 161 strokes. The runner up honors went to Haley Nevins from Buford, GA in her first event of the year. Nevins brought in scores of 89 in round 1 and 85 in round 2, finishing the tournament with a total of 174. Finishing up top three honors, Alexa Slaton from Marietta, GA brought in a total of 179 strokes.

To finish off a great tournament, Hannah Graves from Illinois City, IL was our champion in the girls 14-18 division. Graves is an up-and-coming player on tour, this week she was able to bring in her best score yet. With a round 1 score of 85 and 94 in round 2, she finished with a total of 179 strokes. Hannah is currently within the Top 30 of HJGT point rankings. Avery Van Horn from Lincol, NE played in her first HJGT tournament this week and took home the runner up honors, she finished the tournament with a total score of 181 strokes.
