The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour will be in Orlando, Florida on July 5-6 for the Summer Classic at Eagle Creek presented by Frogg Toggs! This will be a fun-filled weekend at Eagle Creek Golf Club. Our Florida tournaments always offer a competitive field, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to play against some of Florida’s best! The Summer Classic at Eagle Creek is open to all junior golfers ages 11-18. Florida Tour exemptions are at stake during this event! AJGA performance stars will be awarded if the field size is met in the respective age division. Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings (JGS) are available and the winner in each division will receive an automatic bid into the 2014 Tour Championship! The top 10 finishers will receive points towards year end honors, which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup. The event will be a two day, 36-hole, stroke play tournament. The first round will begin on Saturday, July 5, with a double tee start running from 7:30AM-9:30AM. The second round, on Sunday, July 6, will begin with a double tee start at 7:30AM-9:30AM. About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Ohio, Indiana, Virginia, New Jersey, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, and Pennsylvania.
