How has your experience been in the HJGT internship program?
My experience in the HJGT has broadened my horizons intellectually and professionally. HJGT has provided me with hard work that challenges my preconceptions of the industry, while also providing me new ones I have never faced before. There is quite a bit of character development to be had — and while I can sometimes make my time here hard for myself, I firmly believe I have learned more than I have in school.
What are your professional goals after the internship/graduation?
My professional goals are to transfer to SNHU to further my education as I feel I am not yet ready for my intended career as web developer/designer. Ideally I wish to become a digital media coordinator.
What was your favorite sports memory growing up?
I never had luck with many sports growing up, but I remember golf being one of the few things I enjoyed. While I played it very casually, I found it peaceful, and I’m fond of my memories playing it early in the morning.
What’s your favorite part about working remotely?
Working remotely is something I’ve done my whole life — from high school to college. I find it flexible and relaxing, as I’m in a familiar place where I can focus and get all my work done. Of course, I can slip up from time to time, and get too comfortable. But my favorite aspect about remote work is that it is very convenient, as gas prices are rising way too high and driving two hours to work every day just doesn’t seem worth it.
If you could live in any fantasy world, what would it be and why?
The one I’ve made in my head. Because it has everything I’ve ever wanted in it.
