In his first HJGT tournament of the year, Coen Bauschek from Greenwood, IN took home first place in the boys 16-18 division. Bauschek brought in an impressive scorecard for the weekend. With two birdies on the weekend, he had a round 1 score of 78 and 77 for round 2. Coen finished the weekend with a total of 155 strokes. The runner up honors went to Max Terrell from Crestwood, KY. With one eagle on the weekend, he put up scores of 70 and 86 totaling 156 strokes, his best HJGT tournament score of 2023. Finishing up top three honors was Ocean Krisna Permana from Carmel, IN. His scores of 77 and 78 gave him a total of 157.

In the boys 16-18 division, Ryder Hodgson from Montclair, NJ was our first place finisher. Hodgson did a great job on the course and was able to bring in an impressive scorecard. He shot five under and had nine birides. With scores of 65 and 72, he finished the tournament with 137 strokes. This was Ryder’s fifth Top 3 finish of the year, he is currently in the Top 10 for HJGT point rankings. Michael Nardone from West Palm Beach, FL and Hunter Probst from Bear Creek, PA tied for the runner up honors. Both players were able to bring in scores of 72 and 76 for an impressive total of 148 strokes.

In the boys 16-18 division, Hunter Probst from Bear Creek, PA was our first place finisher this past weekend. Probst has been playing with HJGT since 2020 and has participated in over 20 tournaments with a majority resulting in a Top 10 finish. Hunter was able to secure the win with four birdies on the weekend and a total score of 148 strokes. His next tournament will be at the Toftrees Junior Open in the beginning of July. Matthew Hurchalla from Wallingford, PA and Cyrus Parvizi from Gladwyne, PA tied up for the runner up honors. Both players did an outstanding job bringing in four birdies on the weekend along with a total score of 150 strokes.

Long time HJGT player Harrison Zipfel from University City, MO was the first place finisher in the boys 16-18 division this past weekend. Zipfel has been playing with HJGT since 2019 and has participated in over 30 tournaments with over half of them resulting in a Top 10 finish. Harrison was able to secure his win with one eagle and scores of 69 and 68 totaling 137 strokes. The runner up honors went to Lawson Barks from Poplar Bluff, MO. With eight birdies on the weekend he brought in scores of 68 and 76. He finished the weekend with a total of 144 strokes. This was his second tournament of 2023 and his first Top 3 finish. Jett Maasen from Linn, MO finishes up the top three honors with a total score of 148.
