In the boys 14-15 division, first place went to Troy Gadalla from Vancouver, Canada. With two birdies on the weekend, Gadalla brought in scores of 81 and 82 totaling 173 for the weekend. Troy is new to the HJGT, this was his first ever tournament. We applaud his efforts on the course and hope to see another win at his next tournament.

In the boys 14-15 division, Grant Sherrick from Bettendorf, IA placed first. Sherrick brought in an exceptional scorecard this weekend. With nine birdies on the weekend, he brought in scores of 72 and 70 totaling 142 strokes. This was his third event of 2023 and his first win. Taking home the runner up honors was Kashton Wilson from Yorkville, IL. Wilson put up scores of 80 in round 1 and 76 in round 2 for a total of 156 strokes. The top three honors went to MJ Pulcanio from Orono, MN with a total of 159 strokes.

Leading the boys 14-15 division was Henry Mayor from Mission Hills, KS. With four birdies on the weekend, he brought in scores of 75 for both days. Henry finished in first place with a total score of 150 strokes. This was Henry’s first time playing with the HJGT, his next tournament being the Major Championship at Tiffany Greens. Rowan Banning placed as the runner up honors for the weekend after he brought in his lowest score of the year. Banning, from Leawood, KS brought in scores of 73 for round 1 and 86 for round 2 totaling 159 strokes. With a final score of 160, Patrick Mayo from Leawood, KS finishes up the top three honors.

Taking the lead in the boys 14-15 division was Teddy Halpin from New York, NY. Halpin had an exceptional scorecard for the day. With two birdies, he brought in a score of 73 strokes to secure his first HJGT win. Teddy is ranked in the Top 20 of HJGT point rankings. With three birdies and a total score of 74 strokes, Hongtao Gu takes home the runner up honors. Gu, from Zhuhai, China is a newcomer to the HJGT. We applaud his efforts and look forward to seeing him play again at the Crystal Springs Summer Junior Open. Finishing up top three honors is Jacob Carlson from Chelmsford, MA with a total score of 76 strokes.
