The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) invites you to play in the New Jersey Fall Challenge. This event will be held at the Mountain View GC in Ewing, NJ on October 10-11. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to play one of New Jersey's premier golf courses! The New Jersey Fall Challenge is open to all golfers between the ages of 11-18. The event will have Junior Golf Scoreboard Ranking (JGS), winners in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 Tour Championship December 5-6, 2015, and the top 10 finishers will receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup. Both rounds will begin with a single tee start from 10:00-2:00 PM. Registration fees for members are $199 and $244 for non-members. Mountain View is a mature, 18-hole championship golf course which was opened in 1958. Mt. View is open year round, seven days a week, weather permitting. The course measures 6117 yards from the regular tees and 6682 yards from the back tees with a par of 72. Mt. View is characterized by its natural terrain of rolling hills and valleys. The course is ideal for players of all abilities. Mt. View has a 10-stall driving range with netting that allows golfers to work on their game or warm up before each round. Since its grand opening on June 20, 2007, Mountain View’s new clubhouse has been solidly booked with golf outings, corporate luncheons, weddings and private parties. The 9,000square-foot clubhouse and pro shop were completed in 2007 after about 10 months of construction and replaced the course’s original clubhouse that was nearly 50 years old.

About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than another other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 8 years. There are several factors that set us apart from the competition which we call #TheHurricaneDifference. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2015 the HJGT will conduct events in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Louisiana, Mississippi, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Juniors will compete in 1 of 5 divisions which are: Boys 15-18, Boys 13-14, Boys 11-12, Girls 15-18, and Girls 11-14. Memberships for the 2015 season start at $139 and tournament fees range from $189-$229 for 36 hole events. The HJGT season is based on a calendar year and players earn points throughout the season towards year end honors beginning January 1.
