How has your experience been in the HJGT internship program?
My experience as an intern with HJGT has been incredibly educational so far. I didn’t have any
marketing experience when I joined the team, and I was a bit hesitant to delve into digital
marketing with such a limited view on it. I started with writing press releases, and have since
expanded more into our weekly newsletter and email marketing campaigns as well.

What are your professional goals after the internship/graduation?
This question I’m afraid doesn’t have a clear-cut answer. I’ll be graduating from Georgia
Southern University in May with my BS in Sports Management and minor in Management. I’m
excited to see where I end up after receiving my degree and I know the skills I’ve learned while
interning with HJGT will be useful no matter where I work in the future.
What was your favorite sports memory growing up?
I was an athlete from 8 th grade up until my junior year of college. I used to compete in precision
rifle shooting, and I have several fond memories of traveling with my teammates throughout
high school and as a D1 athlete on the Georgia Southern Women’s Rifle Team. I think one of my
favorite memories is from the conference championships in 2022. My friend and I were the last
two standing in the top-8 elimination final, and I won the individual title for that discipline.
What’s your favorite part about working remotely?
I enjoy working remotely because of the freedom it gives me in my daily life. I like to spend time
with my cats and working on building up my small business in my free time, and not having a
commute to work gives me more time to do the things I enjoy.
If you could live in any fantasy world, what would it be and why?
I would love to fly with the Thirteen in Throne of Glass. Although having a garden in Middle
Earth would also be something that I’d enjoy tremendously.
