The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) invites you to play in Canongate Series #2! This event will be held at Traditions of Braselton Golf Club in Jefferson, GA on April 25-26. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to play one of Georgia’s premier golf courses! Canongate Series #2 is open to all golfers between the ages of 11-18. The event will be ranked by the Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS). Additionally, there will be South Carolina Junior Golf Association Heritage Points(SCJGA) and Tarheel Youth Golf Association Points (TYGA) available. Top 3 finishers in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 Mid-Season Invitational at Chateau Elan June 20-22. Winners in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 National Championship December 5-6. Top 10 finishers receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup. Canongate Series #2 will have guaranteed AJGA Performance Stars at stake regardless of the field size. The Boys 15-18 Champion will earn 4 Performance Stars and Top 5 will each earn 1 Performance Star. The Girls 11-14 Champion will earn 1 Performance Star. The Boys 11-14 Champion will earn 1 Performance Star. Contact HJGT for any divisions with non-guaranteed status. The Hurricane Collegiate Golf Tour is proud to sponsor Canongate Series #2. The winner of the Boys 15-18 Division and the Winner of the Girls 15-18 will receive one exemption into a Hurricane Collegiate Golf Tour event of their choice ($179 value). The exemption may be used at any HCGT event within the year of 2015. About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of five age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 13-14, Boys 11-12, Girls 15-18, and Girls 11-14.
