The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) is excited to invite you to one of our final THREE events in South Carolina for 2014! The Greenville Jr. Shootout Presented by HJ Glove will be held Saturday, October 11th through Sunday, October 12th at the incredible Pebble Creek Golf Club- Creekside Course. The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour is winding down its 2014 schedule, so don’t miss out on the opportunity earn Hurricane Cup points and represent the state of South Carolina in our 2014 Hurricane Cup! Also exclusive to this tournament, all players will receive a free glove from our title sponsor HJ Glove as a registration item. The Greenville Jr. Shootout Presented by HJ Glove is open to all golfers between the ages of 11-18. At stake in this event are opportunities to earn South Carolina Junior Golf Association Heritage Points (SCJGA), Tarheel Youth Golf Association Points (TYGA), Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings (JGS), and AJGA Performance Stars if the respective field sizes are met within each age division. First place finishers in each division receive an automatic bid to the 2014 Tour Championship, held on December 6th-7th. Top 10 finishers receive points towards year end honors, including state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup. This event is a two-day, 36 hole event. The first round will kick off Saturday, October 11th with a single tee start running from 8:00AM to 12:00PM. The second round will begin Sunday, October 12th with a single tee start running from 8:00AM to 12:00PM. Registration fees for HJGT members are $185 and $215 for non-members. The Pebble Creek Club has 36 championship golf holes set over 500 acres of ponds, natural dogwoods and mountain-fed creeks in Upstate South Carolina, with all holes boasting Champion Bermuda greens. Creekside, measures almost 6,500 yards and is playable for golfers of all ability levels. A full practice facility includes a driving range, two chipping greens and putting greens. About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Ohio, Indiana, Virginia, New Jersey, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, and Pennsylvania.
