From June 4th-5th, 2022 the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour Held the New Jersey Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Nathan Tallinder from Madison, New Jersey was the first-place finisher this weekend. Tallinder brought in scores of 75 and 74 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Charles Ferrise from Phoenixville, Pennsylvania was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 74 and 79 for a combined total of 153. Connor Reinhard from Palmerton, Pennsylvania finished the top three honors with scores of 81 and 79 for a weekend total of 160.
Boys 14-15

Matthew Lu from Basking Ridge, New Jersey was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lu brought in scores of 79 and 80 for a combined total of 159 for the weekend. Henry Graham from Greenwich, Connecticut was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 77 and 83 for a combined total of 160. Tanush Patil from Edison, New Jersey finished the top three honors with scores of 82 and 83 for a weekend total of 165.
Boys 11-13
Anthony Wu from Short Hills, New Jersey was the first-place finisher after beating Leo Graham in a playoff match. Wu brought in scores of 78 and 68 for a combined total of 146 for the weekend. Graham from Greenwich, Connecticut was the runner-up this weekend after the playoff match with scores of 73 and 73 for a combined total of 146. Axel Brandes from Bernardsville, New Jersey finished the top three honors with scores of 78 and 77 for a weekend total of 155.
Girls 14-18

Emily Renoff from Glen Ridge, New Jersey was the first-place finisher this weekend. Renoff brought in scores of 81 and 80 for a combined total of 161 for the weekend. Emma Li from Newtown, Pennsylvania was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 88 and 81 for a combined total of 169. Lucy Barton finished the top three honors with scores of 87 and 83 for a weekend total of 170.
Girls U13
Aditi Lakhawala from Kendall Park, New Jersey was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lakhawala brought in scores of 78 and 74 for a combined total of 153 for the weekend. Jessica Kim was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 94 and 91 for a combined total of 185.
Boys 10 Under
Zachary Hirsch from Merrick, New York was the first-place finisher this weekend. Hirsch brought in scores of 88 and 82 for a combined total of 170 for the weekend. Robert Bakay from Pine Beach, New Jersey was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 123 and 125 for a combined total of 248.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
