From April 27-28, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Palencia Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format and with a field of five divisions, including the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys U10 Division and Girls 14-18 Division.

William Plageman from Swansboro, NC was the first-place finisher of the Palencia Junior Open. Plageman scored 77 and 74, giving him a combined total of 151 strokes. Kittiphop Chantang from Muang, Thailand and Connor Wolf from New Brighton, MN were tied for runner up. Both scored 160 strokes, with Chantang shooting 84 and 76 while Wolf shot 82 and 78.
