From April 27-28, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the IMG CC Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format and with a field of six divisions including the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys U10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division and Girls U13 Division.
Alexander Owen from Kissimmee, FL was the first-place finisher of the Boys 16-18 Division. Owen scored 76 and 72, giving him a combined total of 148 strokes. Amine el Omari from Wesley Chapel, FL was the runner up, shooting 72 and 77 to finish with 149 strokes. Forrest Benson (Mahomet, IL), Brayden Larson (Faribault, MN), and Nathaniel Lee (Fresno, CA) were tied for third place. All three scored 150 strokes, with Benson and Larson both shooting 77 and 73 while Lee shot 76 and 74.
Henry Wang from Lakewood Ranch, FL was the first-place finisher of the Boys 14-15 Division. Wang scored 76 and 78, giving him a combined total of 154 strokes. Tied for runner up were Chase Nicks from Bradenton, FL and Owen Paoli from Parrish, FL. Both scored 156 strokes, with Nicks shooting 84 and 72 while Paoli shot 77 and 79.
Simthandile Tshabalala from Johannesburg, South Africa was the first-place finisher of the Boys 11-13 Division. Tshabalala scored 84 and 79, giving him a combined total of 163 strokes. Daniel Paniagua-Cornish from Bradenton, FL was the runner up, shooting 93 and 88 to finish with 181 strokes.
Mack Wong from St. Petersburg, FL was the first-place finisher of the Boys U10 Division. Wong scored 89 and 86, giving him a combined total of 175 strokes.
Kylie Eaton from Greenville, RI was the first-place finisher of the IMG CC Junior Open. Eaton scored 76 and 67, giving her a combined total of 1-under par, 143 strokes. Alana Kutt from Sarasota, FL was the runner up, shooting 79 and 75 to finish with 154 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Jeri Lafleche from Winnipeg, Canada. Lafleche scored 85 and 70, giving her a combined total of 155 strokes.
Amelia Lecavalier from Tampa, FL was the first-place finisher of the Girls U13 Division. Lecavalier scored 91 and 86, giving her a combined total of 177 strokes.
