From April 27-28, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Long Island Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format and with a field of five divisions including the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys U10 Division and Girls U13 Division.

Ethan Heuer from Southampton, NY was the first-place finisher of the Long Island Junior Open. Heuer scored 79 and 74, giving him a combined total of 153 strokes. Patrick Saxe from New Canaan, CT was the runner up, shooting 79 and 81 to finish with 160 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Vihaan Malhotra from New Delhi, India. Malhotra scored 83 and 78, giving him a combined total of 161 strokes.
