From April 23rd-24th, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Massachusetts Spring Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.
Boys 16-18

Nate Jordi from Mendon, MA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Jordi brought in scores of 79 and 69 for a combined total of 148 for the weekend. Oscar Feschuk from Toronto, Canada was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 74 and 76 for a combined total of 150. Eugenio Pelayo from Guadalajara, Mexico, and Yuxuan Wang from Shanghai, China tied for the top three honors with scores of 73 and 78, and 75 and 76, respectively, for a weekend total of 151.
Boys 14-15

Charlie Potter from Sherborn, MA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Potter brought in scores of 82 and 78 for a combined total of 160 for the weekend. Savar Bhasin from Millbury, MA was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 82 and 80 for a combined total of 162. Kai Shing Ernie MOK from Wallingford, CT finished with top three honors with scores of 81 and 85 for a weekend total of 166.
Boys 11-13

Jeffrey Fumarola from Ballston Spa, NY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Fumarola brought in scores of 75 and 81 for a combined total of 156 for the weekend. Brian Li from Newton, MA was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 78 and 84 for a combined total of 162. Brooks Carter from Wellesley, MA finished with top three honors with scores of 95 and 94 for a weekend total of 189.
Girls 14-18

Nicole Criscone from Clifton Park, NY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Criscone brought in scores of 78 and 78 for a combined total of 156 for the weekend. Sofia Robinson from Weston, MA was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 79 and 78 for a combined total of 157. Katherine Ng from Wellesley, MA finished with top three honors with scores of 84 and 79 for a weekend total of 163.
Girls U13
Boys 10 Under

Jack Cheever from Dedham, MA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Cheever brought in scores of 79 and 76 for a combined total of 155 for the weekend. Noah Dasilva from Stoneham, MA was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 96 and 104 for a combined total of 200.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
