From November 19-20, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Fall College Prep Series at NC State. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Gavin Kvadus from Glastonbury, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Kvadus brought in scores of 74 and 75 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Joseph Morinelli from Crozet, VA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 73 and 79 for a combined total of 152.
Jaden Puello from Fayetteville, NC was the first-place finisher this weekend. Puello brought in scores of 79 and 80 for a combined total of 159 for the weekend. Jacob Lowe from Chapel Hill, NC was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 86 and 84 for a combined total of 170. Lukas Newton from South Boston, VA tied for second with scores of 85 and 85 for a weekend total of 170.
Jiaqi (Jackie) He from Chapel Hill, NC was the first-place finisher this weekend. He brought in scores of 160 and 145 for a combined total of 305 for the weekend.
Helen Young from Beltsville, MD was the first-place finisher this weekend. Young brought in scores of 70 and 83 for a combined total of 153 for the weekend. Grace Anderson from Burlington, Canada was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 81 and 75 for a combined total of 156. Olivia Lovegrove from Lincoln, NE finished the top three honors with scores of 78 and 81 for a weekend total of 159.
Grace Rotatori from Stamford, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Rotatori brought in scores of 104 and 98 for a combined total of 202 for the weekend.
Boys 10 Under
Liam Rotatori from Stamford, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Rotatori brought in scores of 101 and 94 for a combined total of 195 for the weekend.
About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
