In the boys 14-15 division, Michael Murray from Belchertown, MA took home the first place win, this was his first HJGT tournament. With eight birdies, he brought in scores of 71 in round 1and 73 in round 2 for a combined total of 144 strokes. The runner up honors went to Declan Ward from Barrington, RI. In round 1 he scored a 77 and a 75 in round 2, totaling 152 for the weekend. Declan has five Top 10 finishes under his belt so far this year. Enze Miao from Thosand Oaks, CA finishes up the top three honors with scores of 79 and 75, ending the weekend with 154 strokes.

In the boys 14-15 division, newcomer Logan Hong from Oswego, IL finished the weekend in first place. This was Hong’s second event of the year and his first win. In round 1 he brought in a score of 83 and one birdie, in round 2 he had a score of 80 and one birdie. Hong took the champion title with a final score of 163 strokes. This follows a fantastic second-place finish at the Illinois Junior Open where he scored a 164. With a final score of 173, Peter Lochnicki places as the runner-up honors. Lochnicki, from Northbrook, IL brought in scores of 81 in round 1 and 92 in round 2. This was his third Top 10 finish of the year. Finishing up the top three honors was Niall Panchal from Winnetka, IL. This was Panchal’s first HJGT tournament, he finished the weekend with a scorecard of 176 strokes.

In the boys 14-15 division Parker Rodgers from Nevada, IA finished the weekend in first place. Rodgers is a newcomer to the HJGT, this was his second event of 2023 and his first win. This weekend he brought in five birdies with scores of 76 and 69, totaling 145 strokes. Currently, he is ranked within the Top 50 players of the HJGT point rankings. Tyler Hoppe from Plymouth, MN took home the runner up honors after his first HJGT tournament of the year. In round 1 he brought in a score of 76 and in round 2 a score of 77. Hoppe finished the weekend with a final score of 153 strokes. Finishing up the top three honors was Leo Hong from Lincoln, NE with a scorecard of 168 strokes. Hong brought in his lowest tournament score of the year this past weekend.

In the boys, 14-15 division, longtime HJGT player Jamen Sanders from Goose Creek, SC was the first-place winner. Sanders has been playing with the HJGT since 2020 and has 17 Top 10 finishes under his belt. With eight birdies he brought in scores of 67 and 73, and he ended the weekend with a total score of 140 strokes. Sanders is currently within the Top 30 players of the HJGT point rankings. Gavin Hutchinson from Myrtle Beach, SC took home the runner-up honors on the weekend. Hutchinson did a fantastic job on the course in his first event of 2023. He finished the tournament with scores of 74 and 72 for a combined score of 146. Campbell McLain from Pawleys Island, SC finishes up the top three honors with a scorecard of 154 strokes.
