The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour Alumni Spotlight is proud to feature Loyola University Maryland golfer, Carlo Pizzano.
Carlo is from College Park, Maryland and currently a senior at St. Anselm’s Abbey High School in Washington, D.C. He began participating in the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour in 2015, and one of his first HJGT competitive tournaments was the Northern Virginia Junior Open. Since then, he has played for the tour in 2016 and in 2018 where he stepped his golf game up tremendously. In the Charlotte Junior Challenge, he shot a 76 and 77 consecutively to earn a 3rd place spot on the podium. That display shaved off 22 strokes from his first event with HJGT. Since then, Carlo has been playing golf competitively across the D.C. area and has won a few awards along the way.
Because of Carlo’s success and his ability to perform better each and every time he steps on the green, he has committed to play golf at Loyola University Maryland in the fall of 2019.
We are thrilled to see our young golfers making an impact at the next level, and we wish Carlo Pizzano the best of luck!
