Pittsburgh Fall Junior Open

From October 16-17, 2021, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Pittsburgh Fall Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.

Boys 16-18

Pittsburgh Fall Junior Open

Ben Ritenour from Greensburg, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Ritenour brought in scores of 75 and 80 for a combined total of 155 for the weekend. Cameron Jarvis from Barboursville, WV and Callan Wilcox from Pittsburgh, PA tied for this weekend’s runner up. Jarvis brought in scores of 80 and 79 for a combined total of 159. Wilcox finished with scores of 83 and 76 for a total of 159.

Pittsburgh Fall Junior Open

David Fuhrer from Pittsburgh, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Fuhrer brought in scores of 83 and 73 for a combined total of 156 for the weekend. Colton Lusk from McMurray, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 83 and 77 for a combined total of 160. Christopher Hoffman from Pittsburgh, PA and Connor McKenzie from Pittsburgh, PA tied for top three honors. Hoffman brought in scores of 84 and 77 for a combined total of 161. McKenzie finished the weekend with scores of 79 and 82 for a total of 161.

Michael Quallich from Pittsburgh, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Quallich brought in scores of 68 and 81 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Luke McGraw from Boalsburg, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 82 and 77 for a combined total of 159. Dylan Murray from Glenshaw, PA finished the top three honors with scores of 110 and 102 for a weekend total of 212.

Megan Manesiotis from Wexford, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 87 and 90 for a combined total of 177. Paige Meyers from Wexford, PA finished the top three honors with scores of 93 and 86 for a weekend total of 179.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.

Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division. The HJGT season is based on a calendar year and players earn points throughout the season towards year end honors beginning December 31, 2021.
