From May 4-5, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Philly Junior Open at Golden Pheasant. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys U10 Division, and the Girls14-18 Division.
Noah Ochab, from Bernardsville, NJ, secured the lead with a total of 147 strokes, claiming first place after rounds of 76 and 71. Brayden Tritsch from Medford, NJ, secured second place with a total score of 153 strokes, posting rounds of 77 and 76. Christopher Mark Parrish from Woolwich Twp., NJ, secured third place with a total of 155 strokes, after rounds of 80 and 75.
Jackson Norconk, hailing from Hunlock Creek, PA, secured the top spot with a total of 155 strokes, claiming first place after rounds of 78 and 77. Will Johnson from Berwyn, PA, secured second place with a total score of 166 strokes, posting rounds of 87 and 79. Benjamin Oh from Ridgefield, NJ, and Ty Sheftic from Blue Bell, PA, tied for third place with a total of 169 strokes each. Oh posted rounds of 84 and 85, while Sheftic posted rounds of 82 and 87.
Ethan Clouser and Rayan Shah, both from Newtown, PA, tied for the top spot with a total of 167 strokes each. Clouser shot rounds of 81 and 86, while Shah posted scores of 84 and 83. Preston Minio from Lansdale, PA, secured third place with a total of 177 strokes, after rounds of 88 and 89.
Isaac Lee, representing Alpine, NJ, took the lead with a total of 157 strokes, securing first place after rounds of 82 and 75. Grant Bravyak from Marlton, NJ, secured second place with a total score of 186 strokes, posting rounds of 93 and 93.
Gege Ren, representing Bryn Mawr, PA, secured the top spot with a total of 153 strokes, claiming first place after rounds of 79 and 74. Meredith Finger from Wilmington, DE, secured second place with a total score of 158 strokes, posting rounds of 81 and 77. Sophia DeSantis from Glen Mills, PA, secured third place with a total of 167 strokes, after rounds of 85 and 82.
