The Boys 12–13 Division delivered a competitive battle at the Connecticut Fall Junior Open, with the top two players separated by just two strokes after 36 holes.
Gordon Han (Westport, CT) emerged as champion, bouncing back from a 79 in Round 1 with a strong 72 (+1) in Round 2 to finish at 151 (+9). His final-round performance proved to be the difference, securing the title by two shots.
Crosby Knowland (Ridgewood, NJ) stayed close throughout the weekend, recording rounds of 76–77 for a 153 (+11) total and runner-up honors.
Rounding out the division, Henry Henjes (East Walpole, MA) battled through challenging conditions, finishing third with a two-round total of 185 (+43).
The division showcased resilience and competitive spirit, with Han’s closing round standing out as one of the stronger performances across the age groups for the weekend.

The Boys 12–13 Division featured one of the most impressive performances of the weekend.
Lewis Armstrong (Suwanee, GA) dominated the field with rounds of 71–68, finishing at 139 (-5) to win by 11 strokes. His final-round 68 was the lowest round of the division and one of the standout scores of the entire tournament.
Graham Hall (Mills River, NC) battled consistently to finish runner-up at 150 (+6), while Prithvi Patel (Lexington, SC) took third at 170 (+26). Colin Gerald (Conway, SC) rounded out the leaderboard in fourth.
Armstrong’s under-par performance set the standard for the event, showcasing his ability to go low under championship pressure.

Major Championship at Oneka Ridge

The Boys 12–13 Division brought exciting play and standout performances at the Major Championship at Oneka Ridge, with players showing poise well beyond their years on a demanding course.
Max Niemiec (Farmington, MN) was the clear star of the weekend, firing rounds of 72 and 69 to finish at 3-under par (141) and secure a commanding seven-shot victory. Niemiec’s final round 69 was the low round of the division and showcased both consistency and confidence under championship conditions.
Chasing the leader, Jackson Bergstrom (Sartell, MN) turned in steady rounds of 73 and 75 to finish at 4-over par (148) and claim solo second place. Just behind, Peyton Riddering (Mahtomedi, MN) stayed consistent with back-to-back 75s, taking third at 6-over par (150).
Rounding out the top five were Jackson Fogelson (Bemidji, MN) at +9 (153) and Grayson Lorz (Oxbow, ND) at +15 (159), both delivering solid play against a competitive field.
From Niemiec’s under-par performance to the determined efforts of the entire field, the division highlighted the strength of the next wave of junior golfers in the region. The players demonstrated skill, resilience, and sportsmanship, making this year’s Major Championship at Oneka Ridge a memorable test of talent.

Ryan Totte (Falls Church, VA) captured the championship with scores of 75–73, finishing at 148 (+4). His steady second round of 73 proved to be the best of the division and sealed a seven-shot victory.
Preston Minio (Lansdale, PA) earned runner-up honors with rounds of 79–76 for a total of 155 (+11). Daniel Ruggiero (Mays Landing, NJ) rounded out the top three at 169 (+25) after opening with 83.
Further down the board, James Gannon (Doylestown, PA) and Patrick Thomas (Wilmington, DE) finished fourth and fifth, while competitors battled through challenging conditions to gain valuable experience.
The division highlighted resilience and consistency, with Totte’s final-round performance setting the standard.
