The Boys 12–13 Division at the Mid Atlantic Fall Junior Open proved that perseverance and determination can carry players through even the toughest conditions. Stonewall Golf Club tested every part of their game, but these young golfers powered through and left the weekend with valuable experience and highlights.
Nathan Morgan (Vienna, VA) claimed the division title with a two-day total of +39 (183). His consistent rounds of 92–91 showed the discipline needed to stay steady across both days. Morgan’s ability to grind through mistakes and finish strong gave him the edge he needed to secure the championship.
Adley Vu (Chantilly, VA) battled his way to a 2nd-place finish at +47 (191). After opening with a 91, Vu fought through Sunday’s round to hold his position on the leaderboard. His resilience and competitive spirit stood out in tough scoring conditions.
In 3rd place was Sehaj Sandhu (Chantilly, VA) with a total of +53 (197). Sandhu’s willingness to fight through both rounds highlighted the growth and development that this age group represents.
The Boys 12–13 Division was a reminder of what junior golf is all about: learning, battling, and building confidence in tournament settings. Morgan’s win, Vu’s persistence, and Sandhu’s determination capped off a division that showed heart and promise for the future of the game.
