Hopewell, NJ – September 2025, Preston Minio (Lansdale, PA) turned in a commanding performance at the Northeast Regional Invitational, capturing the Boys 12–13 Division title in style. Minio fired rounds of 72–71 to finish at 1-under par (143), standing as the only player in the division to break par on the challenging Hopewell Valley layout.
Behind him, Ari Nadel (Amagansett, NY) battled to runner-up honors with rounds of 80–79 for a total of +15 (159). Just one shot further back, Crosby Knowland (Ridgewood, NJ) claimed third place at +16 (160) after a strong opening round.
Rounding out the top five were John Burton (Chatham, NJ) at +21 (165) and Edward Song (New York, NY) at +23 (167).
Minio’s ability to go under par while the rest of the field struggled highlighted both his consistency and composure, making his wire-to-wire victory one of the standout performances of the weekend.

Bristow, VA – September 2025 The Boys 12–13 Division at the Northern Virginia Junior Open came down to a one-stroke finish, with Ibrahim Sheikh of McLean, VA, edging out the competition to claim the title. Sheikh posted back-to-back rounds of 80 for a two-day total of +16 (160), showcasing consistency that proved just enough to hold off a charging field.
Right on his heels was Declan Cameron of Arlington, VA, who matched Sheikh’s final-round 80 but came up just one shot shy, finishing at +17 (161) in a hard-fought runner-up performance.
The battle for third was equally compelling, as three players Luke Blanton (Alexandria, VA), Dillon Parekh (Arlington, VA), and Landon Park (Oakton, VA) all tied at +25 (169), each putting together strong stretches of golf on a demanding Bristow Manor layout.
Graham Hill of Arlington, VA, followed closely in sixth at +27 (171), while Drake Shi (McLean, VA) and Sam Choi (Potomac, MD) rounded out the middle of the leaderboard. Adley Vu and Sehaj Sandhu, both from Chantilly, VA, completed the standings, battling through challenging conditions to gain valuable tournament experience.
With steady nerves and timely shot-making, Sheikh’s narrow victory over Cameron highlighted the competitive spirit of the division, proving once again that in junior golf, every stroke counts.

The Boys 12–13 Division at TPC Prestancia showcased international competition and tight scoring at the top of the leaderboard.
Brody Blackwell (Sarasota, FL) claimed the championship with rounds of 77–76 to finish at 153 (+9). His consistency across both days proved just enough to secure a narrow two-shot victory.
Sultan (Blue) Alrashed (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) made a strong push with a closing 75, earning runner-up honors at 155 (+11). Kairi Matsumoto (Funabashi, Japan) rounded out the top three at 163 (+19) after an impressive opening-round 76.
Completing the division, Christian Lee (Medina, WA) finished fourth at 164 (+20), while Tommy Alrashed (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) placed fifth at 183 (+39).
Blackwell’s steadiness under pressure highlighted the weekend, but the international depth of the field made the Boys 12–13 Division one of the most competitive of the event.
