The Girls 14–18 Division at the Major Championship at Oneka Ridge came down to a dramatic finish, as two players tied at the top after 36 holes.
Sarah Dove (North Oaks, MN) and Brynn Roehrich (Watertown, SD) both posted totals of 9-over par (153), forcing a playoff to determine the champion. Roehrich rose to the moment, holding steady under pressure to win the playoff and secure the title.
Dove, who fired rounds of 76–77, showcased consistent play all weekend and earned a well-fought runner-up finish. Roehrich, with scores of 78–75, closed strong on Sunday to force the playoff before ultimately taking home the trophy.
Just three shots behind, Payton Anderson (Maple Grove, MN) and Reagan Juhl (Stillwater, MN) tied for third at +12 (156). Rounding out the top five were Kieley Hanson (Chanhassen, MN) and Sonja Johnson (Waconia, MN), who both finished at +14 (158).
The deep field featured competitive play throughout, with multiple players posting strong rounds and late charges, including Nora Benson (Long Lake, MN), who fired a final-round 75 to finish ninth.

The Girls 14–18 Division at the PGA National Fall Junior Open featured some of the weekend’s most competitive play. The conditions were far from forgiving, but these young women rose to the challenge, showing not only their skill but their resilience on one of Florida’s toughest stages.
Ella Wester (Key Biscayne, FL) emerged as the champion, finishing at +7 (115). Wester’s steady second round of 77 separated her from the field and highlighted her ability to handle pressure when it mattered most. Her composure on the greens and consistent ball striking carried her to the top of the leaderboard.
Right behind her, Sara Valentine (West Palm Beach, FL) battled hard, finishing runner-up at +10 (118). Valentine’s round of 79 on Sunday kept her within striking distance throughout the final stretch. Her determination to stay in the fight until the very end showed her competitive edge and made for an exciting finish.
Londonrose Rinaldi (Potomac, MD) placed 3rd at +15 (123) after posting an 82 in the final round, demonstrating grit against tough course conditions. Just one stroke behind, Elizabeth Hall (Haines City, FL) secured 4th at +16 (124), while Alexa Tobias (Palm Beach Gardens, FL) rounded out the top five with +20 (128). Each player showcased resilience and flashes of great play on a demanding PGA National layout.
The leaderboard also featured international talent like Chloe Rounce (Nassau, Bahamas), who tied for 6th at +23 (131), alongside Florida’s own Tatyana Villegas (Miami, FL). Their efforts reinforced the competitive depth of the division.
The Girls 14–18 Division was defined by determination, perseverance, and strong finishes across the board. From Wester’s clutch performance to Valentine’s pressure chase and the steady play of Rinaldi, Hall, and Tobias, this age group proved that the future of women’s golf is in talented hands.
