Boston Fall Finale at Sandy Burr
New Sandy Burr Country Club | November 1–2, 2025
The Boston Fall Finale marked the final stop of the New England fall season on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT), bringing together a talented field of junior golfers from across the Northeast for one last test at New Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland, Massachusetts.
A classic New England layout, Sandy Burr’s tree-lined fairways, fast greens, and crisp November air created the perfect stage for a championship weekend. Across two days of play, the field battled gusty winds and firm greens—conditions that rewarded smart decision-making and precision over power.
In the Boys 16–18 Division, CJ Chagnon of North Grafton, MA, led from start to finish, shooting consistent rounds of 75–75 (+6) to claim the division title. Luke Nguyen of Braintree, MA, delivered a composed 79–74 (+9) performance to win the Boys 14–15 Division, showcasing his ability to stay cool under pressure. The Boys 12–13 Division saw Richard Taylor of Acton, MA, emerge victorious with a total of 158 (+14), while Hunter Murray of Wellesley, MA, dominated the Boys 10–11 Division with an exceptional 151 (+7)—one of the lowest totals across all divisions.
On the girls’ side, Alyssa Paine of Scituate, MA, captured the Girls 14–18 Division crown with rounds of 86–88 (+30), demonstrating steady composure on a course that challenged every aspect of her game.
From tee to green, Sandy Burr demanded focus, finesse, and fortitude. The event’s blend of competitive intensity and sportsmanship embodied the core of the HJGT mission—creating experiences that prepare young athletes for success both on and off the course.
As the 2025 fall season drew to a close, the Boston Fall Finale stood as a fitting conclusion: a showcase of rising talent, enduring perseverance, and the undeniable passion that fuels the future of junior golf.
