St. Augustine, FL — In a weekend defined by tight margins and demanding course conditions, Jeremiah Smith of Viera, Florida, rose to the top at the World Golf Village Fall Junior Open, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Smith claimed the Boys 16–18 Division title with a two-day total of 150 (+6), edging out a competitive field filled with some of the region’s top junior golfers.
Smith opened the tournament with an impressive 71 on Saturday, setting the early pace on the historic World Golf Village layout. On Sunday, he battled through gusty winds and tricky pin placements to post a 79, holding off Turner Hersey of Palatka, FL, who finished just one shot back at 151 (+7).
Behind the leaders, Brady Fallon of Clearwater, FL, and Ryland Robinson of Gainesville, FL, shared third place at 153 (+9), displaying consistent, composed golf across both rounds. Ian Garcia (Middleburg, FL) and Mark Puchkov (Brooklyn, NY) rounded out the top five with matching scores of 155 (+11).
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, renowned for developing young talent and providing elite-level competition, once again delivered a showcase of grit, skill, and sportsmanship. Orlando, FL — The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour’s Disney Fall Junior Open at Walt Disney World delivered an exciting showcase of talent, with Nicholas Riccelli of Suffield, CT firing an impressive 69 (-3) to capture the Boys 16–18 division title in dominant fashion.
Riccelli’s round was a model of precision and control as he navigated Disney’s world-class layout with confidence. His bogey-free stretch through the middle of the round and steady play down the closing holes set him apart from the field, earning him a four-shot victory.
Jose Francisco Garcia Gonzalez of Toluca, Mexico finished runner-up with a 73 (+1), showcasing strong ball striking and poise under pressure. A three-way tie for third at 75 (+3) featured Kyle Curlee (Memphis, TN), Taylor Holmes (Bradenton, FL), and Jason Johnson (Innsbruck, Barbados), all of whom battled through tight competition and shifting Florida winds.
Rounding out the top 10 were Yash Gupta (Tampa, FL), Noah Hu (New York City, NY), and Keagan Nicoll (Reunion, FL), who each carded solid rounds of 76 (+4).

Charleston, SC — The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour’s Charleston Junior Open at Charleston National Country Club featured a deep and international field, but it was Winslow Robinson of Traverse City, MI who rose to the top, capturing the Boys 16–18 title with a composed final-round performance.
Robinson opened the weekend with a 79 on Saturday, leaving himself within striking distance of the lead. On Sunday, he found another gear, firing a smooth 73 (+1) — the best round of the division — to finish at 152 (+8) and secure a four-shot victory. His ability to stay patient through challenging back-nine conditions proved to be the key to victory on the demanding Charleston National layout.
Marek Majercak of Rovinka, Slovakia finished runner-up at 156 (+12) after rounds of 80 and 76, while Eduardo De Leon of Panama City, Panama surged on Sunday with a 75 to take third at 157 (+13). Ayden Jarrell of Florence, SC placed fourth at 160 (+16), and Briggs Winfree of Anchorage, AK rounded out the top five at 161 (+17), posting one of Sunday’s standout rounds with a 73.
The Boys 16–18 division showcased the HJGT’s global reach, with competitors representing countries from Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Locust, NC — The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour’s Charlotte Fall Junior Open at Red Bridge Golf & Country Club delivered two days of competitive golf and challenging course conditions, but it was Britton Steede of Cramerton, NC who rose above the field to capture the Boys 16–18 championship with an even-par finish.
Steede opened with an impressive 71 on Saturday, setting the pace early in a talented and diverse field. On Sunday, he followed with a steady 73 to close out the tournament at 144 (E), maintaining control despite firm greens and swirling Carolina winds. His balanced approach, sharp iron play, and consistency off the tee allowed him to separate from the competition and earn a decisive victory.
Abhay Minhas of Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada finished runner-up at 151 (+7), firing rounds of 75 and 76 to stay within striking distance throughout the weekend. Behind him, a tightly packed leaderboard saw four players tie for third at 158 (+14): Gabe deBuhr (Mint Hill, NC), Andrew Draper (Roanoke, VA), Landon Heers (Sherrills Ford, NC), and Pongpat Rattanapiratanon (Bangkok, Thailand) — each showing resilience in the face of a demanding setup.
Robby Flanders of Waxhaw, NC rounded out the top seven at 162 (+18), while Supawut Rungrojpatansaree (Bangkok, Thailand) followed at 166 (+22), highlighting the international reach of the event.
