Kent, OH — Kennedy Farrell of North Canton, Ohio, delivered two steady rounds to earn the Girls 14–18 Division title at the College Prep Series at Kent State, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour at Windmill Lakes Golf Club.
Farrell carded consistent scores of 82–82 (+24 total), showcasing her ability to manage the course and maintain composure throughout the weekend. Despite windy conditions and slick greens, she held firm to edge out the competition and secure the top spot.
Jocelyn Wintersteen of Cassadaga, New York, finished runner-up at 166 (+26) after an opening-round 81, while Johanna “Jo” Nicol of Dublin, Ohio, closed strong with a final-round 81 to finish third at 167 (+27).
Farrell’s disciplined play and calm under pressure made the difference, capping off a strong showing in one of the HJGT’s most competitive college prep events of the fall season.

Michaud posted steady rounds of 88 and 86 (+30) to secure the top spot, showing composure and consistency across both days on the challenging Farmington layout.
Lucianne Lavigne of New Canaan, CT, finished runner-up at 192 (+48) after a strong final round of 92, while Layla Drago of Brookfield, CT, rounded out the top three with 199 (+55).
Michaud’s victory capped off a competitive weekend of golf in Connecticut, closing out the regional HJGT season with impressive displays of determination and sportsmanship from the field.

Powell set the pace early with an opening-round 77, relying on her consistency off the tee and disciplined short game. Despite tougher scoring conditions on Sunday, she held firm with an 80 to secure a five-shot victory over Lisa Zhang of Alpharetta, GA, who climbed the leaderboard with a closing 78 to finish second at 162 (+18).
Lora Prince of Madison, AL, rounded out the top three at 166 (+22) after an up-and-down weekend that showcased flashes of strong play, while Paige LaRocco of Phoenix, AZ, finished fourth at 189 (+45).
Powell’s win marked a commanding display of control and composure, as she navigated Oak Mountain’s challenging greens and elevation changes with maturity. Her victory added another highlight to a growing season of success on the HJGT circuit.

Greensboro, NC — Grace Trent of White Post, VA, delivered a poised and consistent performance to capture the Girls 14–18 Division title at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Invitational, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, finishing with a two-day total of 160 (+16) at Greensboro National Golf Club.
Trent opened with a strong 76 on Saturday, giving herself an early advantage over the field. Despite tougher scoring conditions and swirling winds during Sunday’s round, she stayed composed with an 84 to seal an eight-shot victory. Her steady short game and ability to recover from early bogeys proved decisive on Greensboro’s challenging greens.
Avery Deal of Naples, FL, took home second place at 168 (+24), improving on her opening round with a confident closing 83. Freja Jensen of Solebury, PA, finished just one stroke behind in third at 169 (+25), while Jordan Hall of Mills River, NC, rounded out the top four at 180 (+36).
