At the TPC Deer Run Junior Open, the Girls 14–18 Division faced one of the toughest tests of the fall season, as the famed TPC at Deere Run demanded accuracy, patience, and resilience over two challenging rounds.
Emerging victorious was Gabriella Stephens of Volo, Illinois, who battled through shifting winds and firm greens to secure the title with a total score of +39 (87–94–181). Stephens’ first-round 87 set the foundation for her weekend, as she maintained composure and focus throughout the demanding second round to close out the win.
While the course played long and conditions tested every player’s endurance, Stephens displayed steady control off the tee and a confident short game that allowed her to stay ahead of the field from start to finish. Her ability to grind through difficult stretches and capitalize on key scoring holes showcased her maturity and mental toughness.
Though Reina Maceren of Plainfield, Illinois, was unable to complete the event, Stephens’ performance stood as a shining example of perseverance and poise. Her victory at TPC Deere Run added a defining moment to the fall season, as she conquered a championship layout that challenged even the most seasoned junior competitors.

The New Jersey Fall Junior Open at LBI National Golf & Resort concluded with an impressive showing from the Girls 14–18 Division, as players battled through brisk coastal winds and firm greens to close out the HJGT’s Garden State season in style.
Jane Wei of Hightstown, New Jersey, delivered a poised and steady performance from start to finish, claiming the division title with a +4 total (71–77–148). Wei’s opening-round 71 set the pace early, showcasing precision iron play and confident putting that held up even as conditions toughened on Sunday. Her composed 77 in the final round was enough to secure a wire-to-wire victory and cap off a dominant weekend.
Local standout Morgan Tyhanic of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, surged up the leaderboard with a stellar 74 on Sunday — one of the day’s best rounds — to take solo second at +14 (84–74–158). Tyhanic’s local course knowledge shined through in the closing holes, cutting Wei’s lead in half and earning a well-deserved runner-up finish.
Charlotte Reid of Cream Ridge, NJ, matched consistency with back-to-back 80s for a total of +16 (160), good for third place, while Drea Minetti of Ridgewood, NJ, followed close behind in fourth at +22 (82–84–166). Rounding out the top five was Lexi Miller of Center Valley, PA, who carded +26 (85–85–170) to finish in strong form.
From Wei’s calm control to Tyhanic’s Sunday charge, the Girls 14–18 Division embodied the determination and competitive spirit that defined the weekend at LBI National. With another thrilling chapter now complete, the event once again proved that New Jersey’s junior golf scene continues to produce exceptional young talent ready for the next stage.

The Minnesota Season Finale at Legacy, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, wrapped up its final chapter of the season with a weekend filled with resilience, precision, and poise on the fairways of The Legacy Golf Course. In a competitive field where every swing mattered, Kennedy Kaus of Overland Park, Kansas, delivered a steady and confident performance to claim the top spot with a two-day total of +19 (163).
Kaus’ rounds of 81 and 82 were built on consistent course management and disciplined putting — a formula that helped her edge out the field and finish her HJGT fall season on a high note. Behind her, Stella Bodensteiner of Edina, MN, and Reagan Juhl of Stillwater, MN, both finished at +21 (165) to share second place. Juhl’s final-round 79 was one of the best rounds of the weekend, showing poise under pressure as she clawed back ground on Sunday.
Ella Souli of Otsego, MN, made a late surge with a strong 77 in the final round — her best of the season — to finish fourth at +24 (168), while Nora Benson of Long Lake, MN, rounded out the top five at +29 (173).
From steady veterans to rising newcomers, the field exemplified the competitive spirit and sportsmanship that have come to define HJGT events. As the Midwest season came to a close under clear skies and cool winds, Kaus’ victory stood as a fitting finale — a display of composure, grit, and the promise of more exciting performances to come in 2026.

The Pittsburgh Fall Junior Open, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour at the scenic Totteridge Club, wrapped up a memorable weekend of competitive golf highlighted by standout performances across every division.
In the Girls 14–18 Division, JoJo Jaskulski of Washington, PA, put together two consistent rounds of 78–78 (156) to secure a wire-to-wire victory at +12, topping the leaderboard by a commanding margin. Jaskulski’s calm, steady approach and controlled iron play helped her handle Totteridge’s demanding greens and undulating fairways with poise.
Trailing behind, Katarina DeVito of Greensburg, PA, and Alayna Stawovy of Belle Vernon, PA, tied for second at +30 (174), with Stawovy’s second-round 83 marking one of the better comeback rounds on Sunday. Tatiana Tutko of Clarence, NY, finished close behind in fourth at +32 (176), while Adrianna Mineo of Kent, OH, rounded out the top five at +33 (177).
The competition showcased not just Jaskulski’s composure under pressure, but also the resilience of a talented field navigating gusty winds and fast greens. The event at Totteridge once again underscored the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour’s commitment to giving rising athletes a championship stage — and Jaskulski left hers as a well-earned champion.
