The Orlando Fall Junior Open at Eagle Creek presented by GEICO, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, delivered a thrilling weekend of competition, highlighted by Briel Royce of Orlando, Florida, capturing the Girls 14–18 Division title in commanding fashion.
Royce was steady from start to finish, posting rounds of 71 and 73 to finish at 2-under par (144) — the only player in the division to finish under par. Her performance was a blend of patience and precision, as she navigated Eagle Creek’s tight fairways and slick greens with poise well beyond her years. Royce’s consistency across both rounds secured a six-shot victory and solidified her as one of Central Florida’s rising golf stars.
In second place, Emma Ziniuk of Magnolia, Texas, showed excellent form with back-to-back 75s to finish at +4 (150), while Meyher Khokhar of Longwood, Florida, and Emma Sanabria of Orlando, Florida, shared third at +5 (151). Both players had flashes of brilliance, with Sanabria’s opening-round 72 keeping her in contention throughout the weekend.
The depth of international and national talent was on full display, with competitors hailing from Spain, Jamaica, the Czech Republic, Germany, Bolivia, the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom — emphasizing the tour’s global reach.
For Royce, the victory at Eagle Creek marks another impressive milestone in her junior golf journey. Her combination of precision off the tee, sharp iron play, and composure on the greens proved to be the winning formula as she closed out one of the most competitive fields of the fall season.

The Fall College Prep Series at Louisville, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour at the University of Louisville Golf Club, produced one of the most exciting finishes of the fall season. After two grueling rounds under cool Kentucky skies, Heidi Mitchell of Louisville, Kentucky, emerged victorious in a dramatic one-hole playoff over Ana Hernandez of Doral, Florida, to capture the Girls 14–18 Division title.
Both Mitchell and Hernandez finished regulation tied at +15 (159), with Mitchell carding consistent rounds of 80–79 and Hernandez posting a strong 75–84. In the playoff, Mitchell showed nerves of steel, sinking a clutch putt to seal the win in front of a local crowd.
Claire Zeiger of New Albany, Ohio, rounded out the podium at +24 (168), followed by Lexi Green of Charleston, West Virginia, who finished fourth at +27 (171).
The University of Louisville Golf Club tested every aspect of the players’ games — from precision off the tee to touch around the greens. Mitchell’s composure and steady play under playoff pressure highlighted her maturity and readiness for the next stage of her junior golf journey.

Rowan Pies of Guilford, Indiana, captured the championship with a steady two-day total of +13 (77–80—157). Pies’ composure under windy conditions and solid ball striking allowed her to maintain a comfortable margin throughout the final round, securing a well-earned victory.
Hannah Ingersoll of Dyer, Indiana, finished runner-up at +18 (82–80—162), delivering one of the steadiest closing rounds in the field, while Taylor Bush of Mokena, Illinois, rounded out the top three at +19 (81–82—163).
Nina Lang of Sussex, Wisconsin, placed fourth at +22 (79–87—166), while Addison Johannes of Hartland, Wisconsin, and Reina Maceren of Plainfield, Illinois, tied for fifth at +26 (170).

Otterburn finished at +26 (81–85), navigating firm greens and swirling winds that tested even the most seasoned competitors. Her consistency throughout the weekend proved crucial as she held off a late push from Marietta Hartmann of Devon, PA, who finished just two strokes back at +28 (81–87).
Jasmine Clemente of Wayne, NJ, claimed third place with rounds of 88 and 86 (+34), while Florence Madurzak of Stockton, NJ, rounded out the top four at +43 (91–92).
Otterburn’s victory was a testament to her patience and course management under difficult conditions. The event capped another successful stop on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, bringing together some of the region’s most promising junior golfers to compete in a high-level championship atmosphere.
