In the boys 11-13 division, Zeidan Rowe from Chicago, IL was the first place finisher. This was Rowe’s first HJGT event of 2023, he did a great job on the course this past weekend. With a round 1 score of 86 and a round 2 score of 91, he ended the tournament with a final score of 177. We applaud his efforts on the course and hope to see him play again soon. The runner-up honors went to newcomer Lucas Lochnicki from Northbrook, IL. Lochnicki brought in scores of 107 and 101 for a total of 208 strokes.

Newcomer Austin Abernethy from Murrells Inlet, SC finished in first place in the boys 11-13 division. With two birdies on the weekend, he had a round 1 score of 83 and a 75 in round 2 for a total of 158 strokes. Peyton Carithers from Mt. Pleasant, SC took home the runner up honors on the weekend. Caritheres scores of 80 for both days gave him a combined score of 160. Hudson Coyne from Mt. Pleasant, SC finishes up the top three honors with a weekend total of 164 strokes.

In the boys 11-13 division, Liam Weller from Des Peres, MO was the first place finisher. Ranked in the Top 10 players of the HJGT point rankings, Liam has 10 Top 10 finishes this year. This week, he secured the win with a total of 86 strokes. The runner-up honors went to Brendan Gibson from Columbia, IL. This was Gibson’s seventh Top 2 finish of 2023. He brought in a score of 87 strokes for the weekend.

In his first HJGT tournament, Drew Marling from Glen Dale, WV was crowned champion of the boys 11-13 division. Marling did a great job on the course. With one birdie, he brought in scores of 93 in round 1 and 82 in round 2. He ended the tournament with a final score of 175. We applaud his efforts and hope to see him on tour again soon.
