There was a sight to see in Happy Valley on this beautiful golf weekend.
This sight was the multi-sport athlete and extremely talented golfer Carson Dibiaso. Shooting an impressive -9 in the tournament, Dibiaso showcased his talents at the Summer College Prep Series at Penn State #2.

The tournament was a close one between DiBiaso, Micah Sheffer who placed second shotting 7 under par, PJ Foley, and Tyler Fortney who tied for third at 6 under par. DiBiaso was behind by two strokes on the first day finishing with a score of 70, while Sheffer shot 68 on the day. But, in the second round, DiBiaso made some adjustments and surpassed Sheffer to take first by shooting an low round score of 65 on the day, while Sheffer shot 69 to secure second place.
DiBiaso was asked about how it felt to get his most recent win and he said, “When I won my first tournament at Penn State I was really happy with carding a 7 under 65. It was a PR for me as well as my first bogey free round. At the time I finished, I didn’t know that I was going to win, so that was also a bit nerve racking since there was a chance I needed to go back out for a playoff. I was very excited when I heard I won by 2 shots.”
DiBiaso prepares for his tournaments by going to the range when he arrives and getting some swings in. After this, he will head over to the putting greens, hit some puts, and gauge the speed. DiBiaso mainly tries to have fun and will have his airpods playing some music to help him get relaxed. DiBiaso enjoys how casual the HJGT tours are compared to others. He also enjoys how nice the courses are.
DiBiaso is part of the 2026 graduating class of Cedar Crest High School in Lebanon, PA. Not only is he on the Varsity baseball team playing middle infield, but he is also a great student and with 3.6 GPA! During the off-season, he enjoys snowboarding and strength training. For the future, DiBiaso has his sights set on playing high-level golf or baseball in college and wants to pursue a degree in Human Resource Management or Business. DiBiaso told us, “At the conclusion of this school year, I’m hoping to choose 1 sport to focus 100% of my time and energy. I would also like people to remember my name and the way I play golf.”
