Player Spotlight: Aubrey Molaison

From March 16-17, Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted a tournament at the Stonebridge Golf Club in Monroe, North Carolina. During that tournament, Aubrey Molaison, from Waukesha, Wisconsin, took first place in the Girls U13 division. Aubrey shot a 94 and an 89 to finish with 183 strokes and claimed first place. She followed up her impressive 2023 season that included nine wins with two top-10 finishes so far in 2024, including this win in North Carolina.

What do you enjoy most about the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour?

“One of the great things about playing HJGT is being able to play 36 or 54-hole tournaments instead of just 18. It gives me more opportunities to hit certain shots and learn about the course.”

How did it feel to get your most recent win on the tour?

“I felt pretty good about it; I really liked the course because it was challenging but fun, and my competitors were super nice.”

How do you prepare for a tournament?

“I always listen to some Morgan Wallen music before a tournament, just to make me a little less nervous.”

What are your career aspirations?

“I might play golf in college, maybe if I’m lucky the pro tour. If not, I’ve recently been interested in actuarial science and mechanical engineering.”

What do you want people to know about you?

“There’ll be more wins to come!!”

Aubrey has already played in two events this year and we can’t wait to see what she does next!
