Aidan O’Hagan began his golf career at the early age of 4-years-old. Growing up in Scotland, golf was a sport that just seemed to come naturally to him. Knowing that playing collegiate golf was the ultimate goal, he started to dedicate his time to pursue his dream. When Aidan was 13, the golf coach at the University of Washington already had his eye on him. He was playing in a tournament in the UK when the assistant coach saw him first.  In the past two months, he has built a really close relationship with them.

His senior year of high school, Aiden moved to Albany, Bahamas where he joined the Albany Golf Academy. Aiden expressed that “being down there (Albany, Bahamas) has helped my golf game so much and having those real-life experiences. The golf courses are great, but it is hard to beat the weather. I’m used to cold and wet.” Moving over to the Bahamas, Aidan discovered HJGT and all the tournaments they host. “You guys have a ton of events on really good golf courses and it has given me a platform to play year-round.”

Aidan has played multiple events with the HJGT in the past three years that has prepared him to play college golf. When he started with the HJGT in 2017, he was placing in the middle of the field, just getting experience in tournament play. After playing more tournaments with the HJGT, Aidan has averaged a top ten finish and has ultimately become a champion within the tour.
