BRADENTON, Fla. (April 8, 2024) – NCSA College Recruiting (NCSA), the leading collegiate athletics recruiting network that helps high school student-athletes find their best college fit and an online product of IMG Academy, has officially been named the recruiting education partner of the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT), solidifying its presence as the premier resource for aspiring collegiate athletes. This marks NCSA’s first-ever partnership with a golf tour, demonstrating its commitment to expanding opportunities for student-athletes across various sports disciplines.
The partnership between NCSA and the HJGT signifies a collaborative effort to provide student-athletes with unparalleled support and resources throughout their recruiting journey. With NCSA’s reputation for personalized guidance and comprehensive educational tools, the HJGT recognizes the value of a more hands-on approach to recruiting, setting NCSA apart from other partners in the space. The HJGT is familiar with the IMG Academy brand, serving as the main junior golf tour for its boarding school golf student-athletes in Bradenton, Fla.
“To partner with the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour and expand our relationship across IMG Academy and NCSA speaks to the impact the tour has on youth golf across the nation and they will serve a key partner for us moving forward,” said Lisa Strasman, President of NCSA College Recruiting. “This collaboration represents an exciting opportunity to empower aspiring collegiate golfers with the tools and knowledge they need to navigate the recruiting process successfully.”
“The HJGT is committed to serving as a pathway to college golf for aspiring golfers worldwide,” said Rex Grayner, Vice President of Business Development at the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. “Expanding our long-standing relationship with IMG Academy by partnering with NCSA addresses an important need for those families seeking hands-on college recruiting assistance. Not only will this resource enable our families to manage their collegiate journeys more effectively, but it further distinguishes the HJGT from all other junior golf tours. We’re thrilled to bring another college resource to the tour, and NCSA adds a new element to the overall HJGT experience.”
As part of the partnership, student-athletes participating in the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour will have the option to create a free NCSA profile, gaining access to NCSA’s extensive network of over 40,000 college coaches and resources. Additionally, NCSA will host quarterly recruiting education webinars for HJGT student-athletes and their parents, providing valuable insights and guidance to navigate the complex recruiting landscape effectively.
The HJGT is offering a $50 discount to NCSA clients who register for their tournaments, fostering collaboration and mutual support between the two organizations. With HJGT’s existing relationship with IMG Academy, this partnership with NCSA further strengthens ties within the sports education community, ensuring student-athletes receive the comprehensive support they need to achieve their collegiate aspirations.
