The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour Alumni Spotlight is proud to feature WVU golfer, Logan Perkins.
Prior to his collegiate golf career, Logan participated in several tournaments with the HJGT, playing as a member in 2015.
Logan’s first event on tour was in 2015 at the Valdosta Junior Open, followed by the Canongate Series #1 just a week later, placing 2nd and 9th, respectively. In his next three events, The Central Alabama Junior Open, The Canongate Series #2, and Canongate Series #5, he caught fire and took home 1st place in each event. Â Logan’s finished off the year with 4 first-place finishes (Central Alabama Junior Open, Canongate #2, Canongate #5, and Bears Best Junior Shootout). His last tournament of the season was the Tournament of Champions, where he finished tied for 11th place.
The WVU sophomore played in 6 of WVU’s tournaments as a freshman, with his best finish being a tie for 8th place. Through two events this season, Logan has a scoring average of 73.80 and his best finish is a tie for 13th place.
