From March 18-19, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Philadelphia Spring Kickoff at Talamore. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Andrew Bilson from Lititz, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Bilson brought in scores of 73 and 80 for a combined total of 153 for the weekend. Andrew Ekstrom from York, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 79 and 77 for a combined total of 156. Brent Glah from Horsham, PA and Ethan Martin from North Wales, PA tied to finish out the top three honors of the weekend. Glah’s scores of 83 and 75 and Martin’s scores of 79 and 79 both combined for a total of 158.
Boys 14-15

Avery O’Neill from Romansville, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. O’Neill brought in scores of 86 and 88 for a combined total of 174 for the weekend. Will Johnson from Berwyn, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 97 and 84 for a combined total of 181. David DiGregory from Pittsburgh, PA finished the top three honors with scores of 100 and 83 for a weekend total of 183.
Boys 11-13

Dane Mohap from Nazareth, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Mohap brought in scores of 74 and 77 for a combined total of 151 for the weekend. Vyom Shukla from Berwyn, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 100 and 100 for a combined total of 200. Joseph McDonald from Bryn Mawr, PA the top three honors with scores of 114 and 97 for a weekend total of 211.
Girls 14-18

Maggie Barnes from West Chester, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Barnes brought in scores of 101 and 102 for a combined total of 203 for the weekend. Emma Rabeno from Avondale, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 151 and 141 for a combined total of 292.
Girls U13

Grace Rotatori from Stamford, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Rotatori brought in scores of 101 and 85 for a combined total of 186 for the weekend.
Boys 10 Under

Richard Chen from Basking Ridge, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Chen brought in scores of 88 and 81 for a combined total of 169 for the weekend. Liam Rotatori from Stamford, CT was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 93 and 83 for a combined total of 176. Xunnan Dang from Newtown Square, PA finished the top three honors with scores of 102 and 94 for a weekend total of 196.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
