Orange County National Fall Junior Open

From September 26-27, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Orange County National Fall Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson DeChambeau Division Boys Under 10,  Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.

Brian (Taehoon) Park from Gyeonngi-do, Republic of Korea was the first-place finisher this weekend. Park brought in scores of 70 and 72 for a combined total of 142 for the weekend. Sebastiano Mascia from Valencia, Venezuela was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 74 and 71 for a combined total of 145. Aiden O’Hagan from Albany, Bahamas finished the top three honors with scores 74 and 72 for a weekend total of 146.

Diego Azar from London, UK was the first-place finisher this weekend. Azar brought in scores of 82 and 74 for a combined total of 156 for the weekend. Kirill Zubov from Majorca, Spain was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 81 and 76 for a combined total of 157. Sebastian Navarro from Winter Garden, FL finished the top three honors with scores of 78 and 80 for a weekend total of 158.

Jonathan Weinberg from New York, NY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Weinberg brought in scores of 78 and 75 for a combined total of 153 for the weekend. Alexander Weinberg from New York, NY was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 75 for a combined total of 153. Santiago Navarro from Caracas, FL and Ziyang Wang finished the top three honors. Navarro finished with scores of 77 and 79 for a weekend total of 156. Wang finished with scores of 78 and 78 for a total of 156.

Elizabeth Kondal from St. Augustine, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Kondal brought in scores of 74 and 70 for a combined total of 144 for the weekend. Andrea Woods from Riverview, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 75 and 78 for a combined total of 153. Xi Miao Zhai from Orlando, FL also tied for the runner up spot with scores of 77 and 76 for a weekend total 153.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
