Shroyer’s bounce-back second round of 78 featured solid ball striking and a clutch short game that helped him climb the leaderboard. Julian Bugara of Prospect Heights, Illinois, rounded out the top three at +21 (84–79–163) after finding his rhythm in the second round to post one of Sunday’s better scores in the division. His final stretch featured strong par saves that solidified his place among the top finishers. Landon Nichols of Nixa, Missouri, and Greyson Duer of Runnells, Iowa, closed out the top five, posting +22 (81–83–164) and +28 (85–85–170) respectively. Both displayed resilience on a course that challenged even the most consistent players. From Theel’s disciplined play to Shroyer’s determined pursuit, the division embodied the essence of competitive junior golf—grit, patience, and flashes of brilliance under pressure. As the autumn wind swept through the famed TPC at Deere Run, these rising stars proved they belong on the same fairways that have hosted some of golf’s greats, making the Boys 14–15 Division one of the standout stories of the weekend.
