Reunion Junior Open presented by GEICO
Learn More
REUNION, Fla. – The Reunion Junior Open presented by GEICO, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, showcased one of the most electric performances of the entire fall season as Anna Bell of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, stormed to victory in the Girls 14–18 Division with a three-under-par 141 (76–65). Bell’s final-round 65 was nothing short of spectacular — the lowest round recorded across all divisions at Reunion Resort. After opening with a steady 76, she caught fire on Sunday, attacking pins with confidence, rolling in putts from all distances, and playing the inward nine at a blistering pace. Her seven-under effort vaulted her up the leaderboard and left the field chasing a number no one could match. Isabel Knickle of Washington state applied pressure with a superb two-under 70 on Sunday to finish at +1 (145), but Bell’s record-setting round held firm at the top. Kennedy Kaus of Overland Park, Kansas, secured third at 156, followed by Mikayla Pungsuwan of Lecanto, Florida, in fourth at 158. A tie for fifth saw Juanita Gomez of Kissimmee, Florida, and Elizabeth Hall of Haines City, Florida, finish at +17 (161), with Gomez delivering an impressive second-round 75 to climb the leaderboard. Bell’s dominant Sunday performance — a seven-under masterclass — stands as one of the defining moments of the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour fall calendar and solidified her as a rising star in the girls’ field.
