In the boys 16-18 division, Ryan Keyes from Wellesley, MA placed first after securing a playoff win against Jake Portugal. Keyes finished the weekend with a score of 77 for round 1 and 70 for round 2, ending the weekend with 147 strokes. This is Keyes’ first win since joining the HJGT in 2021 and his 9th top 10 win. Jake Portugal from Ridgefield, CT placed as our runner up honors. Bringing in scores of 74 and 73 his weekend total was 147 strokes. Portugal has been playing in HJGT tournaments since 2019 and this is his 22nd top 10 win. Finishing up top three honors was Druv Campanella from Needham, MA with a score of 150 strokes.

Blake Broadaway from Albany, GA was the first place finisher for the boys 16-18 division this past weekend. Broadaway has played with HJGT since 2021 and has placed in the top 5 in all but one of his tournaments. He secured his best score this weekend and placed first with a total of 150 strokes. Blake is currently in the top 10 for HJGT point rankings. Taking runner up honors was Oliver Craig from Sugar Hill, GA. With seven birdies, Craig put up scores of 80 and 74 totaling 154 strokes. Tied for top three honors, Ronak Lalaji from Atlanta, GA and James Perry from Lawerenceville, GA both brought in a total score of 155 for the weekend.

Taking the lead in the boys 16-18 division this weekend was Bric Baird from Columbus, OH. For his first tournament with HJGT, Baird played an outstanding game this weekend. With five birdies on the weekend, his scores of 78 and 73 brought him to a total of 151 strokes for the weekend to take home first place. Tanner Wood placed as our runner up honors with a round 1 score of 74 and 78 for round 2. From Reynoldsburg, OH, Wood has played in a handful of HJGT tournaments before and his weekend total of 152 strokes was arguably his best score since joining in 2022. Placing in top three honors was Jonah Schollaert from Sewickley, PA. With four birdies, Schollaert finished off the weekend with 153 strokes.
