Leading the boys 16-18 division was Andrew Marcotte from Hanover, MA. Marcotte brought in an exceptional scorecard for the weekend. With 10 birdies on the weekend, he put up scores of 70 and 76. Andrew finished the weekend with a score of 146 strokes to take the win. This was his sixth Top 10 finish of 2023. Will Giaquinto from Hamden, CT took home the runner up honors. In round 1 he scored a 73 and a 74 in round 2 totaling 147 strokes, giving him his best score so far this year. Robert Zyskowski III finishes up the top three honors. His scores of 76 and 72 gave him a final score of 148 strokes.

In the boys 16-18 division, Blaine Sullivan from Olathe, KS placed first. This was his second event of the year and his first win. With seven birdies on the weekend, he had scores of 74 for both days. Sullivan finished the tournament with a total of 148 strokes to take the champion title. Parker Boggins from Olathe, KY took home the runner up honors on the weekend. Boggins had scores of 78 in round 1 and 74 in round 2 totaling 152 strokes. This was Parker’s first event of the year and will play next in August at the Kansas City Junior Open at Shoal Creek. Asher Rust from Walnut Grove, MN finishes up in the top three honors with a scorecard of 153 strokes.
