Our winner in the boys 16-18 division was Colby Stephens from Willow Spring, NC. Stephens did a fantastic job on the course this weekend bringing in great scores. With eight birdies on the weekend, he brought in a 77 for round 1 and 74 for round 2. He finished the weekend with a total of 151 strokes. This was Colby’s second HJGT tournament, he will participate in the Greensboro Junior Open at Forest Oaks in July. With a score of 155 strokes along with seven birdies, Ryder Hodgson places as our runner up honors. Hodgson, from Montclair, NJ is currently in the Top 15 for HJGT point rankings. Finishing up top three honors was Grayson Hanna from Raleigh, NC with a total of 157 strokes.

Taking home first place in the boys 16-18 division was Elijah Felty from North Chesterfield, VA. Felty brought in an impressive scorecard this weekend. With six birdies on the weekend, he scored a 72 in round 1 and 73 in round 2 totaling 145 for the weekend. Ellis Hobbie from Glen Allen, VA put up scores of 74 and 72 to secure him the spot of runner up honors. Zazael Arlan Atendido from Bensenville, IL brought in his lowest score in an HJGT tournament. He placed in the top three honors with a total of 148.

Griffin Tully led the boys 16-18 division this past weekend. Tully, from Woodstock, GA brought in an excellent scorecard this weekend along with his best score in an HJGT tournament. With seven birdies on the weekend, he put up scores of 76 and 69. Griffin finished the weekend with 145 strokes to take the win. With 10 birdies and a total score of 146, Zane May places as the runner up honors. May, from Canton, GA has played in 14 other HJGT tournaments and this weekend he brought in his lowest score yet. Griffin Latimer from Canton, GA and Nicholas Martina from Alpharetta, GA tied for top three honors with five birdies on the weekend and a total score of 150.

First place winner in the boys 16-18 division was long time HJGT player, Leo Romano from Chicago, IL. Romano had eight birdies on the weekend and put up scores of 71 and 74 totaling 145. Not only was this his fourth HJGT win but it was also his lowest score since joining in 2019. The runner up honors went to Joey Hoffman from Edina, MN. With a round 1 score of 75 and 78 for round 2, his total for the weekend was 153. Hoffman is currently within the Top 100 of the HJGT point rankings. William Cui from Lake Forest, IL places in the top three honors with a total of 155 for the weekend.
