To finish off a great tournament, Makayla Stone from Garnet Valley, PA took home first place in the girls 14-18 division. With a total of six birdies, she brought in scores of 78 and 79. Stone secured her first tournament win with a total of 157 strokes. This follows an outstanding second-place finish at the Philadelphia Summer Junior Open. Serena Bagga from Blue Bell, PA and Reagan Wison from Kennett Square, PA tied for the runner up honors. Both players brought in a total of two birdies and a final score of 165.

To finish off a great weekend, longtime HJGT player McKenna Nelson from Beaver Dam, WI was our first-place finisher in the girls 14-18 division. Nelson has played with the HJGT since 2020 and has placed in the Top 10 in all of the tournaments she’s played in. This weekend she was able to take the victory with a total of 148 strokes. Camille DeLost from Kenosha, WI took home the runner-up honors on the weekend. With three birdies, she brought in scores of 84 and 83, ending the weekend with a scorecard of 167 strokes. DeLost is ranked in the Top 20 players of HJGT point rankings. Finishing up top three honors was Madison Bugbee from Whitefish Bay, WI with a weekend total of 195 strokes.

Sarah Wang from Mclean, VA finished the weekend in first place in the girls 14-18 division. Wang did a fantastic job on the course to secure her second win of the year. Her scores of 76 in round 1 and 74 in round 2 gave her a combined total of 150 strokes. Sarah is currently within the Top 30 players of HJGT point rankings. The runner-up honors went to Emily Wang from Mclean, VA. Wang has been playing with the HJGT since 2018 and has placed in the Top 10 in the 14 tournaments she’s participated in. This weekend she ended the tournament with a total of 162 strokes, her lowest score so far this year. Finishing up in the top three honors was Madisyn Falto from Spring Valley, NY with scores of 91 and 85 totaling 176 strokes.

Brianna Bassett from McDonough, GA was the first place finisher in the girls 14-18 division. This was Bassett’s third event of 2023 and her first win. Her final total of the weekend was 159 strokes. The runner-up honors went to Mia Cluff from Seattle, WA. Cluff put up scores of 82 for round 1 and 84 for round 2 totaling 166 strokes for the weekend. Finishing up the top three honors, Allison Maher from Suwanee, GA, brought in scores of 83 and 85 for a weekend total of 168 strokes.
