Leading the boys 14-15 division was Carson Korver from Orange City, IA. This is Korver’s second tournament of the year and his first win. With a total of three birdies, he put up scores of 74 and 77 for a total of 151 strokes. Newcomer to the HJGT, Parker Rodgers from Nevada, IA takes home the runner up honors. With scores of 77 for both rounds he had a total of 154 strokes.

In the boys 14-15 division, Conor Whalen from Trinity, FL was our first place finisher. With one eagle and two birdies on the weekend, he had a weekend total of an even 70 strokes. This was Whalen’s third tournament of the year and his first win. The runner up honors went to Ryo Murata from Nagano, Japan. Murata had three birdies on the weekend and finished the tournament with a total of 71 strokes. Finishing up the top three honors was Miken Ashmore from Cabot, AR playing in his first HJGT tournament. He finished the tournament with a total of 74 strokes.

Nathan Chege from Olmsted Falls, OH took home first place in the boys 14-15 division. Chege is new to the HJGT, he has played in five tournaments and placed Top 2 in four of them. This past weekend he was able to take the win with a round 1 score of 83 and 89 in round 2 totaling 172 for the weekend. Nathan holds the eighth spot in the HJGT point rankings. The runner up honors went to David DiGregory with a final score of 177 strokes. DiGregory, from Pittsburgh, PA is an up-and-coming player on the the tour, this was his fifth Top 3 finish. David holds fourth place for HJGT point rankings. Shrihan Kondagari from Lewis Center, OH finishes up the top three honors. Kondagari put up scores of 110 and 109 for a weekend total of 219 strokes.

Leading the boys 14-15 division was newcomer Bill Shih from Port Saint Lucie, FL. Shih put up scores of 85 and 80 along with two birdies. He was able to secure the first place win with a total of 165 strokes. The runner up honors went to Inigo Friend from Key Biscayne, FL. He brought in scores of 86 in round 1 and 82 in round 2 totaling 168 strokes. This was Friends sixth HJGT tournament of the year and his second Top 3 finish. In a tie for the top three honors was Colin Gelnaw from Tequesta, FL and Justin Laing from Coral Springs, FL. Both players were able to bring in impressive scores of 170 strokes.
