All-HJGT Teams and Player of the Year

Players who finish in the top 5 in their division in the points standings will be named to the all-HJGT team. These awards will be given out at the season ending HJGT National Championship. The 2019 points race ends on Dec. 8, 2019.

One of the most exciting additions to the points race are the prizes. Within each division, the Player of the Year will be awarded to the player that accumulates the most points throughout the season. Each division’s Player of the Year will be invited to sit down together with their respective division ambassador for an intimate, 30-minute sit-down, and will be flown to a city of the ambassador’s choosing for the meeting.

  • Boys 16-18 = Tiger Woods
  • Boys 14-15 = Will Smith

  • Girls 14-18 = Justin Timberlake
  • Girls Under 13 = Justin Rose
  • Boys U10 = Bryson DeChambeau

HJGT Summer World Championship August 3-5, 2019

The Hurricane World Championship will be held in August in Orlando, and the player who wins each division at this tournament will be invited to sit down together with their respective division ambassador for an intimate 30-minute sit-down. The Hurricane World Championship winner will be flown to a city of the ambassador’s choosing for the meeting.

National Championship Dec. 7-8, 2019

The HJGT National Championship is the strongest and largest event on tour. The HJGT National Championship has grown substantially over the last 11 years, becoming one of the strongest events in the country and this year’s event will be the biggest one yet. The HJGT will host 900 of the world’s best players in Orlando, Fla., on December 7-8, 2019. This year’s event will feature 8-9 premier golf courses right outside of Orlando. The event is an invitational and players must qualify and earn an invite to attend the event. Below is the criteria. Please note that if you qualify for the HJGT National Championship your spot will only be guaranteed until Sept. 1, 2019.

**Please note that once this field is full we cannot open up any more spots or offer winners of late fall events an opportunity to play in this event. The first 90 winners that sign up for this event will be accepted and the tournament will be deemed full.
***The Boys U10 & Girls U13 National Championship and Tournament of Champions will be played on the same course, but will be seperated by starting holes.

Mid Season Invitational 

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour will host the Mid Season Invitational at Sea Island Resort in Sea Island, GA for top performing Boys and Girls June 7-9, 2019. This event will be special invite only for players who finished in the top three in any event from Dec. 30, 2019 – May 31, 2019. Top 50 players on the points list will also be invited to these events. These events will be ranked by Golfweek/Titleist and Junior Golf Scoreboard and will also feature AJGA stars.

HJGT Major Championships

The HJGT will conduct a total of 20 Majors throughout the country in 2019. Those who finish in the top 20 will receive points. More points will be at stake in majors. Players will be allowed to use caddies at Major Championships only. Major Championships are denoted by “Major Championship” in their name.

HJGT Regional Invitationals

Regional invitationals which will feature the top points earners from each region. The 3 regions will be Northeast, Midwest/West, and Southeast. Click on the links below to learn more info on how to qualify.
