Farmington, CT — The Connecticut Season Finale, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour at Farmington Woods Golf Club, brought an exciting close to the fall season with strong performances across all divisions despite challenging course conditions.
In the Boys 16–18 Division, Matteo Barbaro of Middletown, CT, held firm to capture the title at 159 (+15), edging out a trio of players — Rowan Banning, Yixun Chen, and Kuisheng Zhou — by a single stroke. Barbaro’s opening-round 74 set the tone for a weekend defined by tight margins and mental toughness.
Blake Waidlich of Keene, NH, dominated the Boys 14–15 Division, firing rounds of 76 and 77 (+9) for a commanding win, while Junhang Wu of Newton, MA, secured the Boys 12–13 crown by just one shot after posting a composed 87–80 (+23).
On the girls’ side, Ella Michaud of Kensington, CT, earned the Girls 14–18 Division title at 174 (+30), while Anthony Mazzuoccolo of Weston, CT, topped the Boys 10–11 Division at 199 (+55).

Yorkville, IL — The Chicagoland Season Finale, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour at Whitetail Ridge Golf Club, brought together top junior golfers from across the region for one final test of skill and endurance to close out the 2025 season.
In the Boys 16–18 Division, hometown favorite Kashton Wilson of Yorkville delivered a memorable performance, shooting a strong 71 (E) in the final round to claim the title at 150 (+8). His poise under pressure capped off a season highlight for the Illinois native.
Julian Bugara of Prospect Heights, IL, dominated the Boys 14–15 Division, opening with a remarkable 69 (-2) and cruising to victory with a 41-stroke lead — one of the largest margins of the weekend.
In the Boys 12–13 Division, Cameron Nevara of Belvidere, IL, impressed with consistent rounds of 84–80 (+22) to take the win, while Aviel Cornett of Winfield, IL, earned top honors in the Girls U13 Division, firing rounds of 84–83 (+25) to secure her title.
The Chicagoland finale showcased grit, talent, and sportsmanship — a fitting close to an exciting HJGT season in the Midwest, where new champions were crowned and future stars made their mark.

Carrollton, GA — The West Atlanta Fall Junior Open, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, brought together some of the region’s most promising young golfers for an intense weekend of competition at Oak Mountain Golf Club. Across multiple divisions, players battled shifting conditions, firm greens, and the pressure of championship play — and the results didn’t disappoint.
In the Boys 16–18 Division, hometown standout Griffin Barnett of Carrollton, GA, thrilled the local crowd with a wire-to-wire win, firing rounds of 70–74 (E) to finish five strokes clear of the field. His consistency and calm demeanor underlined a weekend of mature, composed golf.
John Thornton of Newnan, GA, captured the Boys 14–15 title, carding a steady 75–77 (+8) to stay ahead of a strong field. In the Boys 12–13 Division, Mason Yi of Peachtree Corners, GA, turned in one of the best rounds of the event — a brilliant final-round 72 (E) — to storm back and secure victory.
On the girls’ side, Reese Powell of Birmingham, AL, impressed with a total of 157 (+13) to claim the Girls 14–18 title, while Brynn Mason of Scaly Mountain, NC, continued her dominant play in the Girls U13 Division, winning by a comfortable margin at 152 (+8).

Greensboro, NC — The Mid-Atlantic Regional Invitational, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour at Greensboro National Golf Club, brought together some of the region’s top junior golfers for a weekend of elite competition, tight finishes, and championship-caliber play.
In the Boys 16–18 Division, Harrison Tindall of Annapolis, MD, was nearly flawless, firing back-to-back 71s to finish at 142 (-2) and secure a commanding victory. Tindall’s control from tee to green and calm demeanor under pressure made him the clear standout of the weekend.
The Boys 14–15 Division saw Quinten Joiner of Millington, MD, go wire-to-wire with matching 73s, finishing at 146 (+2) to take the title. His balanced play and consistency kept challengers like Jake Liang (Glen Allen, VA) and Pattapat Cholweerawong (Bangkok, Thailand) at bay.
The Boys 12–13 Division ended in thrilling fashion, with Graham Hall (Mills River, NC) defeating Samson Milleville (Dover, TN) in a sudden-death playoff after both finished tied at 150 (+6). Hall’s composure in the playoff sealed the win and capped off one of the weekend’s most exciting storylines.
In the Boys 10–11 Division, Joziah Caldera (Pharr, TX) claimed victory at 181 (+37), showing poise and improvement across two days of challenging play.
On the girls’ side, Grace Trent (White Post, VA) took top honors in the Girls 14–18 Division, posting 76–84 (160, +16) to win by eight strokes. Her steady play and confident putting earned her a well-deserved spot atop the leaderboard. Meanwhile, in the Girls U13 Division, Andrea Seale (Frederick, MD) delivered a dominant wire-to-wire victory, shooting 75–76 (151, +7) to finish 19 strokes ahead of the field.
The weekend at Greensboro National showcased the very best of junior golf — skill, resilience, and sportsmanship.
