From January 21-22, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the The Florida Club Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Reese Woodbury from Stuart, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Woodbury brought in scores of 79 and 70 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. J. Paul Jacobs from North Palm Beach, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 74 and 78 for a combined total of 152. Lucas Slayden from Jacksonville Beach, FL finished the top three honors with scores of 76 and 80 a weekend total of 156.
Boys 14-15

Henry Delzer from Grand Blanc, MI was the first-place finisher this weekend. Delzer brought in scores of 85 and 76 for a combined total of 161 for the weekend. Zachary Jerome from Fairport, NY was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 82 and 79 for a combined total of 161. Delzer defeated Jerome in a playoff. Cole Laffere from Miami, FL finished the top three honors with a score of 83 on both days for a weekend total of 166.
Boys 11-13

Carson Lowe from West Palm Beach, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lowe brought in scores of 77 and 79 for a combined total of 156 for the weekend. Cooper Roth from Boca Raton, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 85 for a combined total of 165. Timothy Delzer from Grand Blanc, MI finished the top three honors with scores of 79 and 92 for a weekend total of 171.
Girls 14-18

Staci Pla from West Palm Beach, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Pla brought in scores of 74 and 73 for a combined total of 147 for the weekend. Olivia Lovegrove from Lincoln, NE was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 77 and 77 for a combined total of 154. Madison Haugen from Brookfield, WI finished the top three honors with scores of 75 and 82 for a weekend total of 157.
Girls U13

Olivia Hartman from Palm Beach Gardens, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Hartman brought in scores of 77 and 76 for a combined total of 153 for the weekend. Jasmine Lazzara from West Palm Beach, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 129 and 140 for a combined total of 269.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
